Gary A. Peterson,
President and Chief Executive Officer

Gary A. Peterson is responsible for the strategic direction, overall business development, operations, and financial results for TCF Equipment Finance. He joined TCFEF in April of 2004 and most recently held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to TCFEF he spent 11 years with the CIT Group in various sales and sales management roles followed by 16 years at GE Capital where he also held several sales and general management positions. Peterson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from St. Cloud State University and is a native of Southwestern Minnesota.

Judy I. VanOsdel,
Executive Vice President & Chief Legal Officer

Judy I. VanOsdel is responsible for providing legal services to TCFEF. She joined TCFEF in November of 2010 as the Chief Legal Officer and is the primary liaison with the office of the general counsel of TCF National Bank and its parent on all legal matters applicable to TCFEF. Prior to joining TCFEF, Judy spent 18 years in the law department of Wells Fargo & Company where she provided legal expertise to various business lines, including Wells Fargo Bank and Wells Fargo Equipment Finance. VanOsdel received her Juris Doctor Degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN and her undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota.

Lee Anderson,
Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer

Lee Anderson’s primary responsibilities include managing the TCFEF credit teams including underwriting and credit policy. He also has managerial oversight for credit administration including BSA/AML compliance, reserves adequacy, and criticized/classified loan management processes. Anderson came to TCFEF as part of the 2004 acquisition of VGM Financial Services where he had served in several positions since 1996, culminating as the Senior Credit Manager. Prior to his employment at VGM Financial Services, he worked in various positions at several financial institutions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from the University of Northern Iowa and is a native of Waterloo, Iowa.

James A. Groenewold,
Senior Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer

James Groenewold’s primary responsibilities in his role include controllership, financial projections, financial reporting and tax reporting. Prior to joining the TCF Equipment Finance team in October of 2013, Groenewold spent three years at TCF Bank as the Controller for TCF Bank’s branch banking and commercial lending divisions. Groenewold previously spent three years at St. Jude Medical as Director of Accounting and Reporting as well as three years as Controller for GE Capital’s North American Fleet Leasing Unit. He also held various management roles in his 14 years with Cargill Incorporated. Groenewold holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Minnesota State University – Moorehead and is a native of Southwestern Minnesota.

Kyin Lok,
Chief Corporate Development, Capital Markets and Strategic Development Officer

Kyin Lok’s primary responsibilities include creating strategic action plans for new opportunities including company and tactical portfolio acquisitions. Lok joined TCFEF in August 2013 as Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Development. Previously, he spent ten years with GE Capital and nine years with U.S. Bank in various leadership roles. Lok received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and finance from Northeastern University and holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University. Lok is a native of Boston, MA.
